Mission Statement

The Occupational Therapy Depot, PLLC is a private Pediatric Occupational Therapy Company that provides therapeutic intervention to children of all ages, birth through early school-age years, as well as family-centered education.

It was established in 2003 in response to the needs of the Staten Island community in which it is located and strives to serve. The mission is:

To honestly and ethically provide accessible therapeutic intervention to the children of the community.

Optimally the children who are experiencing difficulties in the areas of sensory processing, sensory modulation, and fine motor skill development will be provided with specialized, problem solving interventions that can be utilized by the children and their parents, appropriately and in a time-limited fashion, both in and outside of the clinic environment, thus promoting natural, age-appropriate life skills.

Through the use of home and supportive environments, children will be enabled to feel safe, succeed with the challenges set forth, and get on with the occupation of being a child with respect for their areas of difficulty, and the performance of youth-oriented activities.

Dedicated educational programs are extended to other pediatric practitioners and students of Occupational Therapy in order to offer opportunities for professional growth thus maximizing all of the strengths, productivity, and unique talents of each child, as well as family-centered education.
